Kids' Crafts
If your little ones need a break from the hustle and bustle of the convention, the MNCBA offers a free kids' crafts area included with the parent or guardian's general admission at our MNCBA SpringCon and MNCBA FallCon events. Our most popular options include colour-your-own Shortbox the Squirrel masks, Shortbox the Squirrel colouring pages, and decorate-your-own superhero capes!
Take your child's creation home with you as a special memento of your day.

We strongly believe in encouraging artistic and imaginative play. Whether it's a child just learning to use crayons, or a young adult seeking career advice from seasoned comic book professionals, we support creative development at all levels.
Our kids' crafts area is generously hosted by Rae Lundquist, and is one of the many family-friendly activities made possible by your donation to the MNCBA.

Rae Lundquist as Edna "E" Mode from The Incredibles
Rae Lundquist, The DreamStitcher, brings over 50 years of costuming experience to the table wherever she goes. If you can name it, she has probably sewn it — from Roman and Viking regalia, to Victorian historical reproductions, as well as sci-fi, fantasy, anime, and video game character costumes.
Rae has done work for a broad range of clients: individuals, commercial organizations, and educational institutions. Check out her display — just look for the costumed mannequins!
