Val Plaksienko is a senior Fine Art student in University of Minnesota. They focus on traditional and digital painting, often creating zines that compile life sketches. They also create mini-zines about day-to day pets' lives.
The Minnesota Comic Book Association (MNCBA) works to promote, through events open to the general public: the education, cultural influence, and significance of comics as an art form, with emphasis on local contributions to the past and current comic book industry.
