Jeff Butler has been a professional artist for over 40 years. He entered the comic book field in 1983, co-creating Badger with writer Mike Baron.
Jeff worked 5 years in the TSR, Inc. Art Department, where he illustrated many Dungeons & Dragons and Dragon Lance game products. He was also the main artist for the Marvel Superheroes Role Playing Game.
In 1989, Jeff and writer Ron Fortier brought The Green Hornet back to comic books. His other comics credits include: The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Hercules and Xena, Charles Barkley vs. Godzilla, and Jason vs. Leatherface.
Jeff’s art has been featured nationally in TV Guide and The Children’s Television Workshop magazines, Universal Studios licensing.
For 13 years, Jeff was a video game artist for Activision. His credits include games like X-Men Legends I & II and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force and Marvel Origins: Wolverine.
Jeff currently teaches Making Comics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
