Clara Bean is an illustrator and graphic designer, originally from right outside New Orleans, LA, with a recent BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in UX Design from the University of Minnesota. She enjoys juxtaposing dark and light (whether it be colors, tone, or typographic styles), as well as implementing illustration into graphic/UX design dominated spaces.
While not in the comic industry yet, for her senior thesis, she wrote and illustrated a comic detailing the history of DC’s disabled characters. She is hoping to connect with professionals and share her passion for disability representation.
