Bill Hauser is a Minnesota-based illustrator and cartoonist whose artwork has appeared on record covers for bands across the globe. A renown figure in the underground punk, hardcore, and heavy metal scenes, Bill’s illustrations blend the raw energy and anarchic spirit of punk rock with the timeless storytelling and craftsmanship of classic 1950s comic books.
For more than a two decades, Bill has built a reputation for chaotic, highly detailed artwork that resonates with music fans and comic enthusiasts alike. From 2013 to 2020, he taught a popular comic book course at the Art Academy in St. Paul.
In 2016, Bill’s career was honored with a retrospective exhibition at Galerie Gemund in Haarlem, Netherlands, where he was also featured as a guest artist and speaker at the highly revered Stripdagen comic festival.
Bill lives in Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota, with his wife and three children, where he continues to create art fueled by caffeine and an ever expanding record collection.
