TARO is an illustrator and cartoonist based in the Twin Cities, where they are an active part of the local self-publishing and comics scene. They make comics about identity, queerness, connection, and occasionally eldritch creatures with abandonment issues. Their indie comic Demiurgy: A Case of Attachment is drawn entirely in charcoal and puts a personal twist on the Jewish myth of the Golem.
